River portraitby puzzledComment: I like the person on the left, it adds more interest to the photo. I also think the girl and the dog wouldn't have taken up enough verticle space to balance the birch trees. I also love how you captured the scene in such a way that it looks like an old painting - if I didn't know better, I would have thought you put a filter on it. |

DSC_7469-becksoft.jpgby BeeCeeComment: I think that this looks great (I'm not sure if this is the one you posted originally or if it's a newer version, but I'll still comment on this particular one) I would leave the softness and leave her eyes dark (I don't like the lighter brown version). You could try using a layer mask to selectively lighten or desaturate the red in her nose and cheeks (whichever looks best) and possibly clone out some (not all) of the reflection in her eyes - but those are just tiny nit-picky things that may not even work out like I'm imagining. I went to try my hand at your original, but I wouldn't even know where to start. I think this turned out great. |

Frozen together in a web of time and...by _DaveA_Comment: I'll be really interested to see what happens with this shot. Providing it's not against the rules in any way, DPC will either love it or hate it. You may want to submit it to the SC for verification just in case so voters don't knock you down. Very interesting shot, I would love to know how you did this |

Run, run, run, run...by timfythetooComment: Very nice. You may have done better with a simpler background. I know that you have a focus on the brick, but with it being so busy and with the runner's motion blur, it gives the appearance that you don't have a focus. Your colors look great, and I love how the hood comes off part way through, it makes the story that much better |

One "bird's" breath,One "fish's" deathby onarComment: Oh wow, what a capture. Beautiful shot, I wonder if there's any way to bring out the fish a little better, maybe something selective, I wouldn't know. It just takes a moment to really tell what you're looking at. Everything else is fantastic |
