In my opinion this is a winner. This is beautiful on so many levels. Perfect pastels in the pup and the blanket. Clean crisp focus. Excellent exposure - no loss of detail. Perhaps the only thing I would have liked to see is a bit more depth of field so that the dog's nose and mouth are as crisp as his eyes, however, I am drawn to his eyes because the nose is slightly less crisp so perhaps it isn't a bad thing. Very well done.

I like the idea of having the dark silhouettes however I find the power lines distracting from the dramatic sky. I am also drawn to the white spot in the trees.

A very nice idea. The only thing I might change is to remove the fabric from the left of the mother. I find that it pulls me out of the left of the photo. Perhaps something that frames the mother and father and continually brings your eye back to them.
