| I'm having a hard time trying to figure out why I don't really like this pic. I totally get the title, and it does fit the challenge. I think maybe it's because this looks like an energetic dog and it should be doing something. I dunno, running after a ball or a frisbe or something. It's almost as if someone is holding it down for the pic. |

| In my opinion this is a winner. This is beautiful on so many levels. Perfect pastels in the pup and the blanket. Clean crisp focus. Excellent exposure - no loss of detail. Perhaps the only thing I would have liked to see is a bit more depth of field so that the dog's nose and mouth are as crisp as his eyes, however, I am drawn to his eyes because the nose is slightly less crisp so perhaps it isn't a bad thing. Very well done. |

this is one of those good photos (which I like) that don't try to look "pastel" just to fit into the challenge. Great job. |

| I love the highlights created on the dog's coat from the lighting. It lends a pearlessence to the photograph that compliments the pastel throw beautifully. 9 |
