Dry martini?by hroiComment: Nice image. Congrats on the results... A lighting suggestion. Try bouncing the flash off the background to create a backlight situation. Then you can fire some flash right into the face without any super harsh reflections. This will also allow edges to become more prounounce and detail to pop. Backlighting glass is a blast... Great work... |

Bodhisattva by labudsComment: Thanks Mr. Tee. Like I said, it will probably fly here on DPC but in the outside world it wouldn't. That's all... |

Bodhisattva by labudsComment: Just an FYI. If your friend fired the shutter, he actually owns the rights to the image since he actually 'took' the picture. I am sure it will fly by here on DPC but in the real world it's copyright infringement.
Great image none the less... |

Reanimationby DavenitComment: Hey Kiwi. 4th doesn't suck. Pretty good in such a large field. It only sucks if those around you aren't playing by the same rules.
If I would have known I could edit the hell out of an image, pull it up on a monitor and shoot it all within the rules I would have. For a 'no editing' challenge there sure is a bunch of editing going on. Sour grapes? Nah. This was all for fun. All I know is that I busted my butt to create an image that all I had to do was hit auto levels and away ya go. I did so, and I am proud of the image.
Like I said. My last one. Validation has been asked for and I won't submit. I sincerely thank all those that have left comments and kind words. Every comment was read and appreciated... |
