Luck of the Draw by scalvertComment: Interesting take on the challenge. The negative space on the top does not really contribute to the image. A different arrangement and a closer crop would be better in my opinion. |

Sorry little bee - this Poppy's closed for the nightby ShutterPugComment: Nice capture. From the look of the eyes this looks more like some sort of fly (maybe a hover fly) than a bee. The insect could be sharper, I don't know if this is a focus issue or if you cropped the image too much. The image could also use some more contrast. |

Fireweed blossomby ShutterPugComment: The colours are nice, but I would suggest a tighter composition to bring more attention to the subject. You could also open up the aperture to blur the background some more (if possible). The image is a little too flat for my tastes, I would up the contrast with a curves adjustment. |
