WOW that little bug is so clear and so sharp in detail and textures, against that soft flower. Well done as this is a fine macro.... |

Nice capture. From the look of the eyes this looks more like some sort of fly (maybe a hover fly) than a bee. The insect could be sharper, I don't know if this is a focus issue or if you cropped the image too much. The image could also use some more contrast. |

There seem to be a few artifacts around the eyes...I agree with surfdabbler that there should be a tighter crop. The lighting is also a little flat, so some editing could lift things up a bit. |

I'd prefer to see some crispness in the flower. As it is, there's only a small part of the image that's in focus. I'd also go for a much tighter crop, so the insect fills more of the frame. |

Great timing! I think you nailed the composition. Looks like a tight crop though. The noise isn't a problem for me, but a little NI/NN around th wings might help. Possibly a candidate for a dark vignette. |
