Ohhhh ... the color ... the color! Captured as if brushstrokes across the picture. "Signs" may be a stretch. I would not have used a border - brush stroke is set down then lifted - rather than the cropped feel.

An excellent photograph, but the white border detracts from the image as it hints at something missing. I think it would have been much more powerful without the border - but I still easily got the sign without looking at the title. Take a look at "Mark of Death " and then try looking at your image both ways with fresh eyes.

An excellent picture, that left me concerned with both the image and title. Maybe I just missed it, but the cross and lighthouse suggest salvation, but the colors and sky cause me to feel something quite different. To much to be comfortable with "Signs."

THere were a couple of images that I ranked higher because,, even though it was a stretch, I got it without looking at the title. A wonderful picture, but it could just as easily fit into so many other catagories.

A wonderful picture which I have difficulty determining why it is a 9, the closest I can come is that the image seems to strike an inconsistant note. That is the problem with voting when the craft of some images are so superior.

Just joined. I clicked on Sigma SD9 and it took me to the page with highest rated pictures. Superb studio/computer work, this image stood out from all the rest on the page.
