	Orange Extraction by chalice Comment: oversharpened, not very abstract, the main subject is has its edge cropped off. also the desaturated areas lack contrast and considering it is a heavy handed use of photoshop, the desat doesn't do much for the image. 2

	La Tapatia Coral by jdannels Comment: you know, this looked enough like coral that i was about to score it low (hey, that's not food!). it took me a minute to realize what was really going on. that is good abstraction, which is more than i can say for a lot of other entries. good color and compsition to boot. 9

	cerise surgelée by rubienne Comment: very nice. well composed and more abstracted than a lot of the entries i have seen so far. my only complaint is some banding artifacts in the midtones.
