Scarletby idnicComment: A beautiful photograph. I might have toned down the brightness of the red tone a little. |

The Bride Gets Madeupby Prof_FateComment: I found this interesting treatment of the subject of brides and weddings. Being a sillhouette gives it a rawness and strips away the glamour. I like the touch of the faint image of the glass in her hand. |

Looking Upby Cleon321Comment: what an interestng angle. I like the contrast of the tree with no leaves in the midst of the other trees. I don't see it as a dead tree but very animated and very much alive. |

Brothersby cddogg13Comment: I like this as a photograph. The cluster of figures is interesting. I think I would have toned down the brightness of the sunset over the mountains and on the water. |

Silent School Awaitingby gotthoffnungComment: I found this photograph to have an interesting tension to it. I think it would be interesting to see it in black and white instead of the sepia tint. I'm not sure it really works as a silhouette but it is a nice photograph. |

Blueby rbennyComment: Photograph has a nice balance to it and perspective indicated by the different sizes of the towers - I like the really small ones that fade into the horizon. |

Siblingsby bucketComment: I find this a powerful photo in terms of content and tension and was deeply moved by it. It works well as a silhouette with just enough mystery. I especially like that little sliver of light between the two windows - indicating to me that there is some element of hope as they possibly contemplate the journey ahead of them. Without it I think they would have appeared trapped somehow. The barren fields remind me of an Anselm Kiefer painting (a famous german painter - if you are not familiar with him). The only element that distracted me was the little white dots on the lower right corner. A wonderful phot and I would love to have a print of it. |
