m28.jpgby grigrigirlComment: Love the overall color--it almost looks like an old photo. The splash of light behind her is just right. Not to mention that cupid's got nothing on this girl! Well done! |

GOODDSC_7045edited.jpgby kenskidComment: Good shot! Very clear when you consider that a living fly isn't exactly the most easily shot creature! Great color. Nicely done. |

Jenby elsapoComment: The lighting on her face is just right. Excellent job indeed, although I can't imagine taking a BAD picture of a model that beautiful! :o) |

beatersby striveComment: Great shot! You almost had the Olympic rings in there! I wouldn't have gone Black & White, but it's not a bad choice. |

Lonely Park Benchby deapeeComment: The color and texture of this photo is unreal (literally and figuratively). I love it--truly a level of photography I aspire to hit someday. 4th place--great job! |

-2.jpgby FlashComment: Wow! Seriously great shot--one of your best, from what I've seen. Lighting, color, fast shutter setting (obviously)--everything turned out well. Be proud of this one! |

PJ saying "cheese"by PixlmakerComment: CalliopeKel--Thanks for your comments. Yes, I used the onboard flash, which is MILES ahead of the one I had on my Nikon 5700. The bathroom is quite bright, too, so I backed up a bit and zoomed in. I figured that wouldn't wash out his face in light, and it worked pretty well.
The Rebel is absolutely awesome--I love it. I feel like I've been driving a Toyota all my life, and now I'm sitting behind the wheel of a Porche! I made this shot in auto mode, but I've been messing with the manual settings, and will be using those features a lot too.
Anybody else want to comment? Thanks in advance. |
