Grandmother's clockby bsluijkComment: I see your distracting elements. I think the photo itself however doesn't really offer much of interest. The lighting is really harsh on the golds as is the white and black background. |

industryby disassociationComment: To me this seems all distraction and no focus. What is the distraction and what is the subject? My guess is the subject would be the windmills but the angle doesn't really do them justice. |

Morning Magicby FalkeComment: Interesting tree. I don't really see anything distracting, it all seems to work with the scene. Overall the image seems a bit bland though. |

Water Mirrorby beatabgComment: Seems the blacks are pushed too hard and lost all detail. Not much here in the way of a focal point... |

Alone with my thoughtsby markwileyComment: It's kind of cool what you have going on here with the shadows and reflections. I think though with the grain and colors it comes off looking like a cell phone pic. I also don't think the setting is very interesting. At the least, I would have cropped out the bed as it adds nothing to the shot. |

Dreams Reflectedby sjhulsComment: This is really cool. Nice idea and execution. I feel though that something just didn't quite click to take this from a cool shot to a spectacular one. I can't quite put my finger on it. Some ideas: perhaps stronger reflection (less movement in the water?), eyes open with some emotion, tighter crop, it could be any number of things. :) |

I didn't until this day! A friend of mine from Marseille was there helping at an eco festival so we went to visit him. There was an open music section with a piano, guitar, drums and accordions. It was mostly just kids banging around until this man picked up the accordion and started playing for us all. It was quite nice. |

babe in the woodsby whiteroomComment: I love this. The way her hair kinda swirls and looks like the tree leaves and she's mid-run with the sun in her hair. Light on top, dark on the bottom. Very cool. |
