Winter Wonderlandby ShutterPugComment: love the contrast of the "motion" of the water against the stationary rock, ice and snow. The water really feels liquid, esp. right before it goes over the falls. I also like that you are on the same level as the lake surface. Only thing that I personally find a wee bit distracting is the water dead center at the bottom, it seems to start from nowhere and my eyes keep returning to it to find the source. I love waterfall pics and this on is nicely done. Good Luck |

eagle eyeby jorrComment: Well, hard to answer that, the more we worked with this, the stronger that discoloration/mud/dirt/line down the middle of his head became. To the point it looked like a stripe, so guess you could say it is soft on purpose, but not our choice, or at least did not feel like it was. |

Flight of the Pelicanby ShowmarphotoComment: Beautiful stop action on the pelican with a nice focus, however IMO the challenge to this challenge was to obtain a good background blur due to the action of following the subject with the camera, the background blur here seems to relate more to DOF issues then to motion panning |

Up and Awayby j3zzComment: Nice stop action to the plane, however I am not really seeing or feeling the "panning" which suggests speed, seems more like a DOF blur to the background then motion blur, still a nice photo but IMO does not rate as high in this challenge as it would in a different challenge |

Sunset Expressby MistyMuckyComment: The front of the train appears to be in sharp focus, however I do not really see a blur to the background, or maybe it is a very slight bit of blur, but with the picture being so dark, I am having a tough time seeing enough detail to really judge the blur of the background which is what determines if panning has been used well |

reaching for a touch of gloryby qwhartonComment: Motion panning is suposed to be used to show the motion of the subject, with a sharp focus on the subject and a blur to the background caused by moving the camera, I just do not see that here |

Skyviewby ThroughTheLensComment: Nice focus on a colorful subject, however I do not see the motion blur to the background that motion panning requires |

Runawayby ppetraccaComment: Nicely done, clear focus on the subject with the background blurred by the motion of panning the camera, just as requested by the challenge-Good luck |
