Food Worth Fighting Overby docurrieComment: I'm really surprised that you didn't get a ribbon for this .The normal photographical elements of the photo are good but not perfect, and the birds are not the most beautiful birds I've ever seen, but the action and expressions of the birds are amazing, and make this a very awesome photograph. |

I don't mean to be inflammatory, but I think you really need to think about what it is photographers generally try to do. Is this a perfect photo? No. Does it deserve a 10? Maybe, maybe not. By and large, photographers try to create beautiful art, and that entails finding beauty in the subject. This doesn't necessarily mean the subject itself will always appear as beautiful as the photograph, but you also can't expect someone to find a photo (no matter how perfectly composed it is) beautiful if they are not drawn to the subject. |
