I dont think, by what you say, that the browsers you were using to see this photo were colour managed.
If you were to upgrade to firefox 3, and enable colour management, you'd see this become very bright and vivid, in colour, having ProPhoto RGB profile tagged.
And yes, Ken, one has to assume that much of the DPC population would be using non-colour-managed browsers, and therefore it is always safest to save your web photos in sRGB. But, if you want to see and use other colour profiles, then upgrade to firefox 3...........with no downside in the decision. |
