Day No. 26by GermaineComment: I really love this, it has a slightly old-time feeling to it, as if it could have been taken in the forties or fifties.
The composition is wonderful, the hibiscus balancing out the area of the subjects. (wow.. does that sound as poncy to anyone else as it does to me?)
anyway.. excellent shot, well done :) |

day 27. 50 days square crop. trunksby rozComment: Great capture, and the processing around it is really good as it only adds to the shot, not overpowering it.
The font is very like the advertising font they use at the moment (I'm guessing a little inspiration there?)
Love the border effect as well, it's one of the things I have the most difficulty with, and tend to just ignore, cropping and leaving it. Having seen this though I'll definitely try and add an occasional border |

In Tandem (Day 26)by karmatComment: Is it wrong that the first thing I thought when I saw this was "yum, lunch"?
Great pic, you caught them at such a wonderful angle, with the two almost identical birds at first glance it almost looks photoshopped. |

50Day26: Rush Hour Emergencyby citymarsComment: I like this, a lot, and nice the way you managed to catch two different types of yellow cab. The soft focus works surprisingly. I'll have to remember that trick next time I'm shaking too much to get a steady shot after too much coffee. I think the increased sat is what really sells it though, two such iconic colours of NY brough tos vividly to the fore |

Day 26by kellyrc01Comment: Thats freaky! I love it :)
Took me a second to work out what had happened to the shot, but I love it, and the colours are great |

Day 26 On the fringe of the madding crowdby jonfrommkComment: I love this shot, and I know exactly what you mean about the feeling of stepping off a train, like you've just accomplished something.
People over here aren't quite so grumpy after a commute, but I do know what you mean about Euston, I've been through there a couple of times, and if you're smiling at people I'm surprised they haven't reported you to the station staff yet :P |

Space Alienby AliciaComment: That looks wonderful, pin sharp, and the scorpion somehow looks even strranger in death. I would have liked to have seen it in a square crop, with the right taken away so the turqoise was the right hand edge of the frame |
