I like the idea of a candid shot of some friends enjoying each other's company. However, it just looks too staged-- perhaps because the man on the left is holding the lens cap ;)

The empty chair is a nice idea for a "missing you" card. Perhaps, having a person sitting next to an empty chair might strengthen the message? Also, the bottom seems a bit overexposed.

Very nice shot. The image of a lonely lighthouse operator is perfect for a "missing you" card. I think I might like the shot even more if the sihlouetted figure was seen in profile, seemingly staring out over the water.
