I think that the border you've added helps to draw the eye into the subject, but it seems to be a bit overdone here. I know it's not legal in basic, but some burning around the edges would have looked a lot better. Aside from that, you may get some comments on the noise, but I think it adds to the image. Focus is dead on, so I'm guessing that you know your photography skills are adept enough to have done the noise on purpose.

This is a great re-take of my old shot from the selective desat challenge. I think you did a fine job capturing the scene, and I agree with many of the comments given. I, too, like how you put the painter in color against the black and white background to make them stand out more. This was an improvement over the original. I'm flattered you chose my shot, and impressed with the result.

Good idea. I like where you went with this challenge. The setup was great. It suffers from bad lighting/exposure and cutting the foot off. Those fixed, it would score a point higher.

Interesting shot, well composed, and well executed. However, without the title, I can't see linking this to hatred just by looking at the photo. Maybe if you would have included more content or a more explanatory photo that told a story rather than went along with one.

This one really bugged me at first. First off, it's a brilliant photo. It's gonna place high in the challenge, it was a great idea, and you deserve the very high placement you are going to get. I'm guessing you'll grab a ribbon off it. But what bugged me was how you did it. I'm thinking that the girl has a fake arm attached to her back with a knife. Maybe??
