Froggyby KelliComment: Kelli, Your zoo shots are so amazing. The green color and the diagonal postion are great. Your subject-the frog-is in focus. The branch in front is softly focused but that is part of a shallow depth of field and is fine with me. |

Deer Hereby xianartComment: A deer? I thought it was BigFoot or the Jersey Devil! Aren't the comments fun when voters are confused? |

You eatin' MY corn?by snafflesComment: Snow is actually difficult to deal with in photos that's why there are so many grey or blue snow photos from underexposure. But you mastered a snow shot. The exposure of the snow is good-white snow. I enjoy the way the deer/elk are going about their meal but casting a careful eye your way. |

Crow Tree Hillby jaysonmcComment: I didn't vote in this challenge but looked through the thumbnails and thought this one was stunning. Delighted that it was a team suck entry! The gold sky works for me - makes what might have been a stereotype sunset -much more interesting. |

Hard Weather Compromiseby raishComment: Such a fun photograph-I look at the duck faces and imagine what they're saying to each other. Love the colors and chaos. |

The problem is I don't have any recognizable style or models (yet) so people could vote more appropriately. There's always the next challenge though. Message edited by author 2007-01-24 06:41:30. |

Darraghby BrookiedComment: By the expression on his face, this looks like perfect timing. The focus and lighting is fantastic. I'm sure this would have done well in the b&w portrait challenge. You probably would have heard about the window frame but since when do portraits all have to be done in a formal studio? |

Home, Sweet Home!by NikonJebComment: this was a 1 minute bad edit trying to increase the contrast a bit and make the flag pop out. A photoshop guru would be able to do a lot better. |
