Frozen Lakeby kevrobertsonComment: Like the sky reflecting in the ice. Overall colours are a bit dark and murky but it is hard to get good colour when it is so overcast. Maybe try desat on this one and see how it looks in B&W. This would also eliminate the distraction of the red clothing of the person in the BG. |

Swan-2.jpgby kevrobertsonComment: Great focus to get all the details of the feathers and the amazing colour of the beak. I like the reflection of the other swan and the bits of ice floating in the water as the swans break through the ice surface. It would have been nice to have the full tail feathers in the shot. |

Ducks in Fallby abbykiddComment: a slight rotation to the right may have improved this shot. Nice colour in the trees and good focus. |

Working Skyby BruBComment: I like the composition but find the focus a little too soft to make this a truly stunning photo. |

busy?by nataliepeetersComment: perhaps a closer crop to move him off centre would have helped this composition. He does look very busy concentrating on that puzzle! |

All on my Lonesome...by AnciComment: the ladybug was hard to identify and being placed dead center does not help visually. I like the idea with the wood chips and bug. Perhaps try a different crop with the ladybug placed on a thirds intersection. The colours could also use enhancing to bring out more of the contrasts in the wood grains, maybe through level adjustment and contrast adjustment. |

Busy Tileby painthorseComment: tile is busy all right. Sorry but your shot doesn't appeal to me. The lighting is flat and a straight on shot of the tile does not present it in a manner that provides visual interest. Perhaps a side shot with more indirect or natural lightling would have helped. |

Bustling Park Avenueby dmmontyComment: whole shot seems to have a slant to the right. perhaps a slight rotation may have helped the presentation. |
