King of the hillby PhotoDaveComment: Super cool image. My only suggestion would have been to clone out the little bushes in the right hand side of the frame. Great post work, the duo tone works well here. |

Unearthly Things by rinacComment: 10, 10, and 10. this shot is simply dead on for this challenge. Love the crisp foreground and the softness of the background. Hope to see this on the front page. |

Curiosityby srobinsonComment: I almost want to see this shot with a different crop. I think the negative space on the left could be cropped out a bit and some dodging on her back and face to draw your eye to her. Right now my eye pulls left to the background. You did make the right choice to go b/w and it's a lovely setup. |

Dreaming to be an Angelby JaimeVinasComment: I might argue that this is too bright and clean for one of Heida's images but I'm not about to argue with a shot that is this beautiful. I love this, well done! |

A Storyby heidaComment: You've captured the essence here of Heida but I think what is hurting this shot is the shallow depth of field on the foreground subject. I believe having chosen to keep him in focus would have helped create an even more dramatic effect. Exposure is great and the composition of the two is fantastic. I really like the Sun beaming through the trees and the back lit forest is amazing. |

Feralby bspurgeonComment: I agree with you 100 percent, images don't allways need to be tack sharp to be good. This on is AMAZING! Well shot and BAH on the low voters!

Brushedby MelethiaComment: Deb,
This is a work of art and is sadly proof that DPC voters are trained to vote on most images that fit the niche on this site. I love this shot and will be adding it into my favs as soon as I finish typing this message to you.
Well done and sorry for the outcome, I would have given high marks if I had voted on this challenge.
Steve
