As she sat in front of the mirror...by epescalaComment: This is am amazing story and something that resonates very closely with the way I feel when I look at a mirror, and my life, and how my grandaughters look at me.
Thank you for sharing this... it should have scored much higher... |

Pins As She Left Themby libertyComment: Awwwwww, I LOVE this. This really strikes a chord with me, and is the perfect story to tell.
(I have my Grandmother's too, it was shaped like a little chair, and I would never dream of changing a thing about it.)

Sleepwalkingby AtlantisComment: This is an amazing story!
Would have loved to have seen the shoes be very sexy, higer heels, and facing you. I love the flowing skirt and the way her bare foot crosses over to come toward you. |

Togetherby PascalComment: I like the way it feels like these two pairs of shoes shouldn't be walking together, yet they are! It tells ME a story... |

"Memories"by CraftyComment: Originally posted by posthumous: Nana took one last look at her scrapbook and closed it up again, as her grandchildren came into the room. They begged her to look at it, but she refused, as always. She told them that they would only be disappointed, that this was just her childhood, more ordinary than theirs.
What they didn't know was that there was not a single photograph in this "chapbook," just pages and pages of formulae and diagrams. Nobody would ever think to look for it here... |
PURE GENIUS! I laughed...
In all seriousness though, your mother is precious. This is really nostalgic to me and the memory of my own beautiful Grandmother... Would love to see this cropped closer to the top of her head to avoid noticing the wrinkles in the backdrop, as well as less of the arm of the chair, right about the area where the blue under the book is showing... |

The Wedding is OVER!by RobertYoungComment: The Honeymoon is over!
This is a great find... would prefer it with a plain black border or borderless... and would have been nice to have more width on the right side... |

Have you ever dreamt of being out of captivity?by hotpastaComment: You know they are thinking beings, and you know they all have a story to tell.
I loved your little story, in all it's sadness it was so real I just had to stop and think.
I think we all need to stop and think a little more often. |

The Lady of the Lakeby TimComment: Originally posted by posthumous: Arthur, upon feeling a great thirst, approached the Lake of Sighs and kneeled before it, but before he could dip his hand into the cooling waters, he saw a shape rise from the deep. 'Twas a Lady of much woe.
Arthur, moved with sympathy for the Lady, who wept not, but whose sardonic smile was certain sign of inner turmoil, asked "What doth distress thee, Fair Lady?"
"Ah, I am sore distressed upon my bodice, which doth make my breasts look funny, and therefore twist my face into this wry position."
"Who hath done this to thee, Fair Lady, to trap thee in this lake and dress thee so funnily?"
"Ah!" sighed the Lady. "Thus is my woe, for I am trapped by Larus the Great, whose magic surpasseth all human courage." |
HILARIOUS!!!! |
