That's a beautiful flower that you captured there, along with the lush green foliage. Good focus on your subject. I would like to see this shot with a tighter crop that keeps all that I just mentioned but cuts out the distracting elements in the background in the top and the upper left of the image. The striking yellow flower against the dark green, flawless foliage would be an awesome combination.

Wow, nice depth of field and clean, non-distractng background. Good use of the rule of thirds with the subject in the right third and the out of focus complimenting flower in the left third. One possible improvement would have been to 'weight' the bottom of the image by composing so that there is more space at the bottom of the image and less at the top.

Quite a collection of ornaments! This was definitely a challenge in exposure with the mixture of white flowers, black background, and ornaments everywhere else in the range of lighting. The ornaments stand out nicely against the dark background, but the white tulips are completly blown out. I don't know how to overcome this difficulty other than to suggest possibly trying HDR.

Great focus on the center of the flower. There appears to be a little haloing that might be due to oversharpening on the out of focus areas, specifically the ends of the petals, the leaf at the bottom right, and the out of focus flowers on the right. What works for me is to select (very generally) the in focus area that I want sharpened and sharpen that area only. The I use the history brush to fade out the sharpened area as it extends away from the focused area that I want sharpened. You don't have to sharpen the whole image, especially when only a small part of it is focused.

Wow, that is cool how this choice of subject contrasts the before and after of the flowering process. It appears that the shot is a tad oversharpened. The is evident with the haloing around the lower right purple bloom and the detail in the shaft of the same flower.

Image tilted to the left, post processing halo of some type around the cliff, very soft image, and the white bar on the right side of image really bring down the score. Nice choice of location for a dramatic scene.

..but not here with the tilted horizon. Was this a purposeful use of a tilted horizon or was it something overlooked? I think it would have been a much better image with a level horizon.

It is such a shame that a tilted horizon, something that is so simple to avoid takes so much away from what is otherwise an outstanding picture and an incredibly lucky opportunity. This would have been an 8, or even my first 9 of the challenge.

Great panning. Despite the motion you've managed to keep your subject sharp. I like the colorful, blurred background.

The horizon dips quite a lot in the middle which is due to barrel distortion. This can easily be corrected in Photoshop under Filter>Distort>Lens Correction.
