with such a tight crop, I'd expect to see a uniform background, and all of the book. With the sunlight on the book, this tells me there is more context, and I'm disappointed not to see it.

sky is very overblown, and horizon isn't quite level. I would also have cropped off the vety left edge to remove the few branches showing from the next tree along. I'd try this with a lower exposure, then using shadows/highlights or floodflash tool to pull the foreground back in post processing.
