I like the exposure on this shot, but the one tree on the left kind of bothers me, more so down where it contrasts off the tan rocks. For some reason my eye keeps getting drawn to that portion of the picture instead of the falls.

Great shot. I agree with Rex about the limb on the bottom right hand of the picture. The color and exposure are really nice in this shot. Great nature capture.

I like the move candid nature of this shot. At first I was thinking the color was kind of flat as well, but the more I look at it, I just think the aperature just made the background really soft, which is fine with me. If you look at the red on the jersey, the colors do appear to be nice and vivid. Well done :).

Looks like a good Norfolk boy :)!

I think other than the shadow that you mentioned in your post, that this is a nice wedding shot. The lighting on the couple is good, the focus crisp, and you captured a great moment.

Beautiful location and composition. The sky is obviously overexposed, but shots like this are really tough with the digital cameras. The lower portion of the picture is great as you can actually see all the details. With a shorter shutter speed to keep the sky and mountain tops from getting washed out would have cause you to lose much of the good detail in the lower portion of the shot. I think a lot of skilled photographers with these type of shots take two exposure and then combined the elements of both photos into one shot. I'm not that much of an expert, but there are plenty of people on the site that can help you with those techniques. Keep up the good work and have fun.

Definitely your best shot. I'd highly recommend a tripod and then another visit to this same spot. Good work and enjoy the D70.
