Nice perspective and a steady hand for sure. Thank god for ISO settings :). I agree with others about the building and the hand rail. I have more of a problem with the handrail than anything and only because of the way it gets in the way of the front door.

Nice timing on the capture and cropping. I also like the background with the white caps in the ocean.

I love bridge shots living here in San Francisco. I really like lines in this picture. The color is a little flat, especially in the far mountains and sky. You could improve that some in Photoshop and make this picture better.

I definitely agree that you need to work on this one some more. It really seems washed out in some places...definitely a common problem with digital cameras and shooting landscapes. The large range between the darkest and lightest parts of the scene make it hard for the camera to get a good exposure throughout the picture. You usually suffer one way or the other (washed out in some place, or too dark in other places). Good composition however and I shot worth working on...have you tried B&W just to see what it looks like?

Powerful picture in my mind, especially considering the subject. Made me think about an old co-worker named Terrance Aiken who worked in the World Trade Center and lost his life that day. I'll have to select this as a favorite as a memory of his life. Thanks for posting it and identifying its significance.

This is a classic portrait of rural America. Love the spray paint on the trash can, the reflection of the trees in the water, the old painted sign. I wish the words on the sign were a little easier to see....not too bright or anything, but just a tad bit easier. I realize that might however take away from the overall weathered look and rural theme. Well done.

Razor sharp. Really nice man. I just became an uncle and this makes me think about my niece and smile. I can only imagine what a parent must feel when they see a picture like this.

Fantastic shot Lee. I think everyone below has summed up the great things about this picture, but I couldn't help but leave you a comment. Beautifully done!!! The colors are amazing and the reflections have that awesome painted look. You should really be proud of this photograph!
