Thanks for all the comments. This is the first time I've submitted a photo, so I really appreciate it. The compression problem was an acident. I normally edit my photos in PhotoShop but I resized this one in MS Photo Editor and I didn't realize that it chooses a default jpeg compression that is incredibly low (it doesn't show the settings as you're saving the file). Oh well. I'm just glad I finally got around to submitting something.

I would have prefered to see the post slightly more off center. Right now it's almost dead on, and almost lined up with the mountain peak. I think it would have been more interesting to have some focal point off to one side

This picture would have been better if you picked your frame with a little more care - maybe you could have gotten in a little closer to the dresser, maybe taken a portrait rather than landscape shot.

This would have been great for the next challenge - reflections. Technically very good, but the composition is a little busy for me.

since the bushes are in the bottom of the frame, I think I would have liked to see them a little more in the frame. Having them in the foreground would add to the sense of depth which seems to be the point of this picture. As it is, I find it a little distracting how the frame cuts across them.
