the concept is good but the shot isnt overly well taken. the size and position of the book seems to centered and there is no depth to the shot and makes it look snapshotty the flash (or other lighting) seems very harsh on the book. 4

i like the photo, the colors are vibrant and the shot is very well taken. ive seen many crayon photos and i tend to only vote high on unique ideas. but this is the best crayon and the most appealing color shot that i have seen so far 9

interesting picture and good use of depth of field. but i dont think that it has a strong relation to the subject because i had to look at the title to figure it out, but maybe that is my own ignorance. i think that the colors are bland and there is no sky detail. vote doenst reflect relation to education. 6

awesome photo. there are many picture of books, apples, glasses and paper/pens. for one to get a high score i think they really need to stand out and i think that this one does. many of the others have no depth. i dont think this one is original enough to be a top ten photo but it should easily be a high scorer 8

nice photo but i think that this should have been taken in b&w to emphasize the mood of the picture i would have also enjoyed to see the light turned down a bit to re-enforce the idea that it is a all-nighter. nice shot and idea and im soooo refreshed to not be looking at an apple, pait of glasses, or a stack of books! 7
