This is a very good portrait, it really conveys how happy he is. The tight crop on the face helps to strengthen the emotion.

I like B&W very much, and this is very well done with good D-Max and D-Min. The tonal range however is a little shallow. Just a tad more contrast in the flesh tones would add just the snap needed. Having said that, I don�t think the lack of contrast is that distracting from the impact of the image. A critique of any work of art is open for debate.

This is a very well done image. Keep up the good work and I hope to see more of your work in the future.
