Just for funby johnmkComment: Word post-challenge about the colors: the picture was shot late in the afternoon, causing the warm tints of the yellow boat and the clouds. No over-processing on my part. |

Untitledby johnmkComment: I have been away for a short period, therefore I can only now (4 days after the challenge ended) say thank you for the many nice and constructive comments that this picture got.
Since I have been accused earlier of "trying to shoehorn in (i.e. into the challenge) a picture that doesn't fit by giving it a pretense in the title" I decided to submit it as 'untitled'. To me the picture speaks for itself and I am glad that many other members felt the same way. Thank you.

Medical Insightby johnmkComment: Thank you all for the nice comments during the challenge. It helped to keep my spirit up, I had better expectations for this picture than what eventually came out.
By the way: my steth is not dirty, the reinforcement of the fork structure is shining through (due to the lighting direction that was required to see the hologram).

Wine openerby RvdSteenComment: out of focus/ the focus is not at an interesting point. There is a distracting spot at 1/3 and there is something undefined in the corner that does not play a role of any importance. Where is the wine bottlle to make the picture interesting? |

The Silver Plated Ones I use on my Porscheby briphotoComment: Somehow I get the feeling that I am being had: the tools are 'hovering' in the picture, as if edited in from another picture where the Porsche engine was not present. The specific tools are not likely to be used on this engine in its present condition anyway. |

Totally Screwedby ttreitComment: I see what you are trying to show, for me it just doesn't work. The picture is too dark to show sufficient contrast between the handle and the screw. And even if the picture follows the rule of thirds, that does not mean that a full black 2/3 is interesting. |
