The Three Amigosby MikeOComment: they're amazing the clarity on their features and eyes makes me smile- almost feel like i'm right there infront of them - the one on the right looks like he is going to be something important and serious, a doctor, lawyer or something of the kind...the one on the left looks like he likes adventure perhaps a firefighter or world adventurer - the little one in the middle is discovering the world - i fancy he'll make your heart jump a few times with fear at his explorations as he grows... you are so lucky to have three musketeers thank you so much for sharing this with me- they're beautiful - never leave the house without kissing them, even if its just to go to the neighbors house- oh goodness i'm crying cant see the screen anymore (only have one eye i can see out of- i guess its good that i can type blind if i have my fingers on the right keys!) never let them go a single day without a group hug! it'll warm your heart to have that moment even if the day has been insane and you are exhausted... :-) i'm so grateful that i have my little one and she was not in the car with me- that i did hug and kiss her before i left- i only went a mile down the street- but that drive changed my entire life and how i look at everything |

Waiting for Raptureby AspenDComment: interesting image-- i do wish it was sharper on the skull on the right (looks like the focus is on the bone between the two skulls(?)- but I still like the shadows/subject and composition; very interesting take on the challenge- ;) could be waiting for burial - to be found- for decay or the bone eating bugs to devour them; could be any number of things they're waiting for :-) |

Children love bubbles!by KevinSLRComment: i think a closer zoom/capture would give this more of a 'wow' factor for me... the little girl with her arms grinning at the bubbles- is an excellent focal point- the rest seems very distracting to me... - i think its because i can clearly see her expression of joy and laughter as she's about to clap her hands on a batch of bubbles - zoomed in on her with the others in the background either sharp or a little OOF its very colorful so perhaps that is also what is pulling my eyes all over the place.. maybe - as is ... black and white conversion? or selective de-saturation? just thoughts/suggestions- its about 1am - just trying to comment and be helpful! :-) goodluck ! |

Peanut Butter and Fluff Sandwichby whiterookComment: hmmm if this were mine i'd probably hope someone would comment- so I shall :-) - perhaps a solid colored background would have been a wiser choice? instead of a brown table that looks like it has lights over head reflecting on it- and is nearly the same color as the peanutbutter... the flash used left harsh shadows- a diffuser or something to that effect might have helped (tissue over the flash to mute it down a bit and give it more of a feathered feel sometimes works) perhaps arranging the display of the items more creativly to captivate your viewer? (ie: take a single slice of bread, do a swirly design of peanutbutter and jelly together on it and set it on a simple black or white background...? just suggestions thoughts-- I really hope that my comment helps - goodluck
other things to note - the saturation was punched a bit high for this entry- it looks like you dodged and burned some element out of the upper corner so its a tad distracting... perhaps even just a long exposure with one directional light would have helped? sepia/black and white / |
