Thank you for your wonderful comments about my grandsons :-)
They are so precious to me and my life would be empty without them.
When I was going through a terrible period in my life 3 years ago it was Luke and Declan who made me smile, laugh, and that was something I thought was impossible at that time.
They live around 20 mins away from me but I do see them every Saturday and I look forward to that so much. Sometimes Luke, the eldest, comes on a Friday after school and stays until Sunday. The times I spend with these chaps are my happiest times.
Luke asked me last time he was visiting how old I was. I asked him to guess and he said '25' ! Lol, I said no I am 58 to which he replied '58, that is nearly a 100!'
Hoping to see them all tomorrow as they could not make last week because they had some sort of bug so it will be 2 weeks since I saw them, though it feels like 2 months, I missed them so much.
I hope your recovery will be speedy and I can understand how that episode changed your life.
Take care
Mike

they're amazing the clarity on their features and eyes makes me smile- almost feel like i'm right there infront of them - the one on the right looks like he is going to be something important and serious, a doctor, lawyer or something of the kind...the one on the left looks like he likes adventure perhaps a firefighter or world adventurer - the little one in the middle is discovering the world - i fancy he'll make your heart jump a few times with fear at his explorations as he grows... you are so lucky to have three musketeers thank you so much for sharing this with me- they're beautiful - never leave the house without kissing them, even if its just to go to the neighbors house- oh goodness i'm crying cant see the screen anymore (only have one eye i can see out of- i guess its good that i can type blind if i have my fingers on the right keys!) never let them go a single day without a group hug! it'll warm your heart to have that moment even if the day has been insane and you are exhausted... :-) i'm so grateful that i have my little one and she was not in the car with me- that i did hug and kiss her before i left- i only went a mile down the street- but that drive changed my entire life and how i look at everything |
