Thanks. This one was taken with a reversed 50mm manual SLR lens on the front of the F707 (attached via a macro coupling ring to the 707's filter thread). Great magnification; really, really shallow depth of field. |

One moment in time by heidaComment: Really beautiful. The top half of the picture would be pleasant on its own - the bottom half makes it something special, particularly with the contrast between the orange and purple. |

First Lightby newtune3Comment: Hi David,
I like this shot - I would pretty much agree with timj351's comments. The upper part of the picture is stunning. The colours and three-dimensional feel to the sky are very nice. The dark area at the bottom is too large - you could reduce the size of it by 1/2 or 2/3rds and I think that would improve it. One other point - the eye seems to like to have a focal point in a shot like this; something for it to rest on - a tree or person in silhouette, for example. You might try a similar shot (if you get another lovely sunrise like this) with such an element included. I hope these comments are helpful. |

In the Spotlight by arnitComment: Nicely composed and the lighting sets the mood but isn't over the top. I like this. |

Fall Realityby dsidwellComment: Beautiful leaf colouring. The straight shadow across the top of the two upper leaves is a chame though. Other than that, nice composition. |

milkweedby ursulaComment: Lovely warm tones in this and the fibres give a tactile quality to the picture which is very pleasing. Well done. |
