 A few weeks ago, I had a photo called 'Fall Fantasy' in which I did a color shift to make green leaves red. This time, the leaves were already this color! Same species of tree (acer grandidentatum), but different time of year.

Beautiful leaf colouring. The straight shadow across the top of the two upper leaves is a chame though. Other than that, nice composition.

Great use of lighting here - the blues in the background provide a nice backdrop to cool down the image and provide some nice color contrast for the leaves. There is a weird shadow line accross the top half of the leaf that is distracting, but fairly minor.

Beautiful warm colour on the leaves but I find the left side of the frame a little too dark overall. Very evocative of Autumn though.

Nice detail and color. DOF directs you to the main leaf and you have a directional where your three connect and your eye ends up there. Composition is great. I gave you a 7.

Wow, I really like the contrast between the orange and blue. The veins in the leaf are so sharp, and the DOF is just right, great work! The leaf in the foreground seems to be backlit by a white/blue light source, as well as lit by the sun. Did you light this with a flash or two?

Beautiful color, great detail. I'll be honest and say I wish the prominent leaf was completely in sharp focus, but I don't think it detracts, more of a personal preference. Your light usage is very upfront, set off nicely by the shadows in the background, and so fits the challenge wonderfully. A very good image. 8

Beautiful lighting and color tones. The focus is spot on, and only that which should be sharp is sharp. Well done, one of my favourites for this challenge.

I lament, i have been taking lots of leaves lately, and I must say I really like how you captured these, the light IS very nice. It is consistent with the warmth of the fall colours. Nicely done.
