Good picture, although I've found that the subject of a photo should look towards the center most of the time. All the space behind the man serves no purpose as my eye is kept away from it by where the man is looking. Crop to the soldier's back to get rid of wasted space.

Still a good picture, though.

The only obvious problem I see is that the picture is tilted a little counterclockwise. Otherwise, the colors are just dull, most likely because it's such an overcast day. I think increasing the contrast would do some good here.

It looks like you reflected a flash off of the flip-up screen of the phone. I'm trying to figure out why you have motion blur, unless it's just out of focus.

The tilt of this picture makes it difficult to look at without feeling dizzy. Otherwise, I like the sepia treatment and the well-defined tones of the ship.

What event does this commemorate? I'm not lowering your score; I'm just curious.

With high-key photos like this one, you have to be careful to not let your subject's boundaries get lost in the background. Here, all of the statues edges are sharp and well defined except for the outside edge of the arm on the left side. Have a look at the White on Light challenge a little while back.

I thought using a flash and a lower exposure setting would help this photo, but then the shadows which define the statue's shape would disappear and the sky would be gray and blend even more with the statue. I don't know how I would do this picture. If the statue is white, maybe take a color picture with a blue sky to have the statue really stand out (of course, assuming this statue is outdoors).

Umm... Green Day's Dookie came out in 1994.

This picture has an 'arranged snapshot' feel to it. The CDs look arranged in an unnatural fashion (they should either be in a rack or scattered on the floor) while not much thought went into the composition and framing of the shot. Since it is the CDs that identify the time period, they should be the main focus of the photograph instead of the air guitarist.
