Bright Ideaby aaronb532Comment: Hmmm... this must be the ol' light behind the lightbulb trick... I wish the background were a little whiter, though. Nice technical shot. |

Gental Curvesby debitiptonComment: Wow, the title could really be misinterpreted in this one (I bet I'm not the only one saying so). Good composition, though the eye is being led outside the frame by the gentle spiral. You should have tried cropping it a little looser. |

plush by jus6681Comment: I just know this is going to get the blue... Great work separating the background from the main character. Strong composition, but kinda gives the illusion of the horison not being straight. |

Feel My Painby adyusComment: Wow, 24 comments on my second challenge ever! And a jump of more than 40 places. I feel the DPC community is really helping me focus on photography better. Thanks again for the comments, everyone. As I said, all credit goes to strain2k, whose idea I shamelessly stole. |

The Pain of War: One Bullet One Lifeby cardmaverickComment: This was one of the few entries that I felt expressed the idea of pain without actually displaying it visually. Definitely deserved more. As for photo editing software, I strongly recommend the free (and open source) GIMP (just google for it). Extremely powerful, though it takes some time to learn. |

Passionby NeilComment: I think the square crop works wonders for this piece. Excellent use of color and motion lines. |

So simple......Yet so Sofisticated.by hdogg4uComment: I think this picture would have been more successful if you'd have worked a little harder and written something meaningful on the pages. For example, Shakespeare on the right and a modern author on the left... That would have earned this a 10. |
