Wow, 24 comments on my second challenge ever! And a jump of more than 40 places. I feel the DPC community is really helping me focus on photography better. Thanks again for the comments, everyone. As I said, all credit goes to strain2k, whose idea I shamelessly stole. |

I like this idea, i've seen it before on DeviantArt, the photo would benefit from a little sharpening though... |

I really like this picture. I think a little larger DOF would allow the front screw to be totally in focus. Definitely in my top ten though. |

I like it! You and the guy who stapled the apple together should hang out! |

Looks slightly out of focus and oversharpened to compensate. Good idea, could do with less chain from the top and a slightly tighter crop on the apple and hardware. |

I've seen this done many, many times before. It seems a little out of focus to me. |

the composition is very nice and perfectly fit to the challenge, but the nails seem to be blurred. |

Again fruits can not feel pain or else we shouldn't eat them at all. |

This is similar to the other apple-with-nails photo. I think that one was better, because it was closer-up. |

I love this picture. Personaly, I would've gave it more negative space. Rule of third, apple in the lower right intersection. But I love the tones and the grainyness... |

The apples are taking a beating in this challenge. This one doesn't work for me. |

Poor apple.
A bit unsharp.
I like the idea. |

Nailed, screwed, drilled, pierced and hung. Covered all the bases. Looks painful to me! |

well composed. I don't see a whole lot of pain, though. I just kinda wish I could pull out all the screws, nails, and eat the apple (it looks pretty juicy). |
