Interesting photo...I'm not sure about how it fits the challenge (I suppose darkness could mean your dark winter shirt, but is that really what darkness *means* to you?) Don't get me wrong, I love the photo, this looks like something I would take. It just seems to be a bit of a stretch with this particular challenge. :)

Very nice, especially on her left eye. I can't help but wish the lighting was the same for the whole photo, though. She has beautiful eyes.

I like the idea of this shot. The candle is great, as is the movement of the flame. However, the face loses something for me. I think perhaps if the slope of the nose showed more so that it didn't seem cut off, it would have been less distracting. As it is, my eye tends to be drawn toward the nostril rather than the overall photo. Again, great idea.

I love this shot! It has only what is needed to make a statement and nothing that causes distraction. I especially love the contrast of the dark frame of the mirror and the bold colors of the scene itself. The "OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR" really ties in with the title. Very nice shot!
