Thanks. I've no idea who the man in deep thought was. He was quite striking, sitting there on his own with crowds and activity going on left and right of him. Gosh, must be nearly three years ago now. |

Free study outtakeby TOYComment: I just totally LOVE the lighting in this (and all you studio work actually). Can't believe I haven't left a comment before. The narrow DOF and how it works with the hair and all here -- it's really, really nice. Wet hair (or whatever is going on there) really seems to set Fabi off too huh? Very beautiful indeed. |

aftermathby senor_kasperComment: Despite a feeling you'd given too many hints for this gag, my imagination *did* run wild. In fact, in the end, I *had* to click the link to this image in the simple hope of NOT seeing that which had rendered in my minds eye! Well done. |

(I think the idea was to have the person drifting away.) Awesome shot and congrats on the high placing! |

Surfer Girl @ 1/4000 by SeanachaiComment: Personally, I'm shocked ANYONE could rate this shot bellow 5, let alone a 1. Slip of the mouse? Bad hair day? :|
Objectively, I'd have given this at least an 8. Subjectively? Well heck! It's a solid 10! [ I'd die for a shot like this on my wall -- taken by me, of course! :P ] Simply AWESOME shot. |

Milkyby TOYComment: If you ever want to share with me how to get such low (looking?) light levels to yield such clear shots, none the less... don't let me stop you. :) |

Arrgh!... I hate this!by alexjackComment: :P Reminds me of my four months stay in the USA. Toilets are designed completely different there you know. (Seriously!) In general, I think the design is probably better -- especially those turbo-charged public versions. But it also leads to the inevitable need for that damned plunger at least once a month it seems -- or perhaps I just need more practice!
Here (New Zealand), unless a toddler tries to flush Mr. Teddy or something, blockages simply don't occur. I know no one who owns their own plunger! Yup -- a blocked toilet is a serious matter in these parts! :) Instead, what we get -- and, really only the numorous more poor versions of the design (like my mother's one for EG.) -- is stuff that just wont go down at all without a helping, umm, stick or brush! And *I* HATE that! *sigh* TMI? :P
Oh... nice photo. Love the pose. The harsh light and high contrast works well for the topic. Well done! |
