I tried diffusing that light (SB800) for about an hour and couldn't get it better than this. I ended up thinking that I like the shadows (at least of the one dragon on the shelf). The other shadow (by the poster) I managed to almost get rid off by moving the flash (SB600) away more and having both a homemade stofen type diffuser and bouncing it of the ceiling.

I thought that maybe a light from the bottom behind the couch would help, and I put a cheap 500W work light there to test, but it just made things weird so I removed it.

Hehe, I just thought about doing a tool shot. I am working on some doors in my house and that was part of the reason I couldn't submit any images the last three days (fixed now) so I thought I'd taking a "working" image, never got around to it.
Great shot, with good lighting and a funny look in your eyes.
