Very harsh shadows and a taad overexposed for my taste. Also I think that maybe if you had taken a bit of a different angel on the house ot would have helped the composition considerably.

Cool composition! I would have liked to see some more life in the broken galss though, it blends too much with the bakground for me. It might be your goal, but I find that it reduces the overall image.

An ok portrait, I don't really see that it fits the challenge though. Also I find that the fact that the head is tilted downwards is a bit disturbing for my own balance. The lighting is a bit too harsh as well. There is a shadow on her face and eyes which is generally a big no no when it comes to portraits.

Flat lighting. Nice idea but it just lacks just about everything. What is the focu here? th ecolour are flat, the strings are too messy and destracting.

Technically it is good, exposure and composition are good, but I thing the subject matter in this one is quite dull. That might be the reason it scored low (eventhough 5.4 isn't really that bad)

Forgotten Fence

Well I suppose the branches in the forground are somewhat distracting. I find the dynamics of the shot a bit off as well, the tree is too centered.
The way I see this shot the rusted spike fence is the main subject so I would have liked to see some more of it.
Very nice DOF and exposure.

P.s take everything with a grain of salt as I am scoring much lower the you on DPC... :-)
