I am the most pedantic man on the planet so I can't ignore the fact that the windmill is not for generating power but for drawing water. This sort of spoils the idea behind the picture for me.

The picture itself is well done, I like the composition and the crop.

Hmmmm... another coin picture. Might suffer due to the similarity to many other entries.

The trouble is, when your entry is so similar to so many other you have a harder time standing out from the crowd.

Title says bright colours but they are not bright on my monitor, looks very dark.

If the old vs. new is the crayons then I think it is a weak link to the challenge theme.

Maybe I am being pedantic but that spelling mistake in the title really annoys me.

The idea and the image don't annoy me at all though, I like both. Imaginative take on the challenge theme.

Although the idea is a bit 'obvious' and very similar to many other entries, this one really stands out from the crowd.

The composition really grabs me and the placement of the sleek, shiny iPod against the busy clutter of the CDs draws my eye nicely.

A New Spin On An Old Groove

I like the way the CD is being 'played' like a record. Better take on the theme than the other CD vs. Records images I have seen in this challenge.

Unfortunately, it looks like you've suffered from camera shake as nothing seems to be in sharp focus. I think you'll get a lower score because of that and the fact that there are many similar images in the challenge.

Unfortunately, the point of focus seems to be the grass and not the mushroom. I wish the mushroom on the right wasn't so close to the edge of the frame as it throws the whole composition off for me.
