In Her Cathedralby magnusComment: I gave this picture a 9 in the voting. My favourite sort of holy place and with someone appreciating the special qualities of the natural world. I'm sorry not many other voters felt the same way but I'm not surprised ;) |

Spring on Earthby YoungerComment: This was the only 10 I gave in this challenge. What a thoughtful and subtle picture. |

An Army Of Oneby bravo sixComment: Great idea, even better execution. Technically perfect as far as I can tell with my limited portrait knowledge. The lighting looks to be excellent and I think the background is the ideal complement to the model. She has "the look" as well, just right for the challenge. 10 (one of two in this challenge from me) |

Like Water Under a Bridge by DrAchooComment: Fabulous greens and the perfect veil of water. Obviously an overcast day but the even lighting has helped control the contrast and let you show off the foliage and rocks as well as the water. One of two 10s for this challenge. I love it. |

Still waters run deep by kaenmeyComment: I want to see even more of this scene, the format just doesn't do it justice. Beautiful light, the mist, the colours...wonderful. 9 from me. |

"Enough is as Good as a Feast"by front_elementComment: This looks like a scene from a Peter Greenaway film. All it needs is a dead swan and a Michael Nyman score ;)
Beautifully arranged and lit. The colours are superb, the background is spot on and I really feel that I could lean in and break off a piece of cheese and take a sip of wine. 9 from me. |

Plastic Pornby fotomann_foreverComment: Couldn't you find an angle-grinder and some safety goggles? Or maybe the sparks would have melted the doll ;)
Great idea and superb execution. |

nostalgiaby crayonComment: This was in my top four in this challenge. I thought the patterns created on the wall by the light streaking through the window were worhty of a picture in their own right. The upturned chairs, neglected walls and the blackboard on the wall all gave a nostalgic feel to the picture. Additionally I thought the toning and the handling of the tonal range were very good. |
