 Topanga Canyon full of wild flowers. This is wild mustard and it makes the hills glow with yellow patches.

Pretty scene. Needs a bit of contrast or saturation, it seems a bit dull or washed out.

A lovely picture, which is probably scoring way below five right now because people don't think it fits the challenge. At least if the same narrow-minded people are voting for this one as for my nature shot! Well, just to prove that not all DPCers are hopelessly boring literalists, I'm giving you a 10!

I like this shot..like the yellow in the back there, green grass in the front ..playing with saturation and levels would have really brought out this picture...nice shot overall - 7

I like the composition but the colors almost seemed washed out. The lighting looks a little flat too.
