good idea for a texture. looks like you shot the flash directly into the metal to get it to bounce back and reveal the texture. not a bad idea, but I am bothered by really bright reflection. to get rid of that, you could try lighting it from the bottom or side to reveal the texture through shadows instead of reflections.

that's a nice texture. good colors. I might try to compose the shrooms differently, though, because the one in front ends up as a big blobbish mass dominating the picture. reminds me of one of those pink snowball snacks. mmm....

good texture in the stucco and the pots. I really like the colors. for some reason, though, I think the shot would have been a lot stronger without the flag in it. also, if you worked with the lighting a little more, you could make this a really terriffic shot. try cutting off all the ambient light, and put a lamp off to the side to create dramatic shadows and accentuate the textures. also, don't use a flash.

hey, that's neat. a photo AND a texture. the grade kind of depends on whether or not this is your photo on the puzzle, assuming it is a puzzle of course. It could be a reflection or a double exposure or something of the sort. suffice to say, however, I like it a lot.

nice shot. looks like edward weston's cabbage leaf (at least I think that's who did it). you might try lighting it differently. if you lit it from the side, the texture would be brought out through shadows, and you could get rid of the reflection off the leaf (though it is kind of nice). also, you might want to hack off that mass in the lower right corner. The black and white works beautifully with the shot, though. good choice.

a great idea, but needs something more, something to give it more interest. the image is composed entirely of vertical lines, which gets tiring to look at, so a different composition could help a lot. also, your flash kind of killed the texture. try lighting from the side instead of straight on.
