The Hornetby rhipsterComment: nitpick - I can see the pin in it's back.
The wood really shows the DOF. Great detail on the face. If I could vote, I'd give you a 9. |

Juvenile 5-Lined Skinkby ggbudgeComment: Wish it didn't have the spider web across it's back. Thought it'd do better than it did.
I first spotted this little guy about 5 minutes before I got this picture. I was taking out the garbage and saw it out of the corner of my eye as it ran and hid. I told him I wanted to take his picture and ran in to grab the camera. I couldn't find it when I got back out but a few minutes later I saw it on a different corner of the porch. It stayed and let me take a few pics before it ran off. Haven't seen it since. The full-size image shows more detail and shows that the whitespot in it's eye is a reflection of the camera. Guess I should have cropped instead of resize... Oh well, live and learn.
Thanks for reading and thanks to those who left comments. :) |

Undying Hopeby ggbudgeComment: WOW! Thanks for the 9 and 10 vote! :D
Here's the Unedited Version - Caution: it's 1.6MB
For those of you who didn't see the ghostly image, if you look about a quarter of the way down from the top in the center, there appears to be an eye. If you follow the image from there, you should see the face of a man.
The man appears to be wearing the uniform of a US Civil War Soldier.
I titled it Undying Hope because the "ghost" in the photo is still searching for something. That, to me, shows Hope. |

Hopeless ?by andrimComment: This image looks a bit tilted to the right (not vertical). Perhaps from the angle you took it at? Personally, I would have titled this "Hope He/She/They Have Gone To A Better Place" :) |
