Nature's Studioby dartompkinsComment: Most people here have scored based on the fact that this is a "Rock, Paper, or Scissor" challenge, meaning one of those three should be the focus of the shot. The key word being focus.
I, on the other hand, read into this challenge in a more literal way. i.e. 'your photo should contain one or more of the three items'. The instructions did not mention focus. As a result, one of those 18 7's votes were mine. :-)
Good luck. |

Blossom in greenby digitalpleasureComment: I'm seeing a few excellent florals, and this is certainly one of them. I like the bokeh, colors, and the detail. Excellent processing leaving no artifactual distractions. Border is quite appropriate. This should do well and I wish you luck. 9 |

untitledby amjltComment: I think you're on the right track with this entry. The nice color of the flower is in sharp contrast to the murky water. Image is not quite as sharp as I would hope for. A bit lacking in fine detail as well, but I think this is more a limitation imposed by your digital camera than your processing, and thus is not that big of an issue. A very appropriate entry, and I think it's a fine entry overall. |

seagull on the roofby photomikeComment: Nice presentation. Technically sharp, focused, detailed, and processed without distracting artifacts. Nice clean sky. Love the color saturation.
I propose cropping the roof even tigher...just below the top tiles. Well done. |

Forest of Oneby pumaComment: Solitary trees seem to be a popular topic. I like the moody sky and the overall color saturation. Good detail and sharpness. Overall well done! |

Flightby JectoComment: A bit grainy but not distractingly so. I wish the sky was a bit more interesting. However, the gradient of hues suffices.
Overall a good entry for this challenge. |

Waiting for the playby jeffzoetComment: Hatched pattern on the field is quite visually interesting and distinctive. Just enough detail on the ball player. Very good entry for this challenge. |
