Well composed, but there isn't much interesting material here. No people, no waves, no animals, not much color, the light isn't anything special. I do like the 2 triangle shapes formed by the water and land. I hope I'm not being too harsh, but this shot had some potential with its composition - the way it is, it's pretty bland. You might want to try during sunrise/sunset. Yeah, it's cliche, but you'll get great light and color.

The lighting is great - good sun angle. The subject is sharp and looks deep in thought. Composition could be a little better, I think, if the subject was less centered. That fence in the background does nothing but clutter the shot, but you probably would have been busted for vandalism if you ripped it out.

Good focus and contrast. I'm no flower expert, but perhaps you could have found one a little more vibrant and alive. The composition makes me feel like something is missing... a book, whatever, just something other than the shadow to balance the right side of the frame on the table.

Good composition and I like the reflection. I'm not sure the infrared is really necessary though. It's a cool effect sometimes, but I don't think it makes enough of a difference here.

Great colors here. Typically I don't like the horizon in the middle of the frame. It kinda works here though because of the symmetry created by the rails. Nice shot.

Thanks Jacko - and everyone else who left a comment. I figured all most people would see would be a dark, grainy, out of focus shot - that's to be expected here. But some people "got it" and that's all I was hoping for.

Ozdick, i can assure you I was drinking and if the bottle was at any more of an angle, it might have been a shot of me puking in bed.

So... anyone want a print of this?

I think the background takes away more from this shot than it adds. I hate to use this word, but it distracts me from the subject.

Looks like you're going for an album cover kind of thing here. Good idea and good colors. But I think a little more light on the face might make it even better.
