 My first submission in a long time... I'm trying to get back into this.

It's purposely dark and slightly unsharp. Desaturated and adjusted levels and curves.

Don't worry, I don't do this EVERY morning. ;)

Thanks Jacko - and everyone else who left a comment. I figured all most people would see would be a dark, grainy, out of focus shot - that's to be expected here. But some people "got it" and that's all I was hoping for.

Ozdick, i can assure you I was drinking and if the bottle was at any more of an angle, it might have been a shot of me puking in bed.

So... anyone want a print of this?

YOu got robbed man. This portrait had a lot more character than 90% out there. Alas, I gave it a 10.

Looks like a candid snapshot -- an interesting choice for a self-portrait.

Had a big night huh :) Would have preferred to see the bottle at a bit more of an angle, as it doesn't really look like you're drinking from it and gives a "staged" look to the photo. Focus and brightness could have been a bit better, but a very interesting take on the "self portrait" idea

Anybody who complains that this is too grainy or not very well focused has never woken up like this. Cool lighting & composition to fit the spirit of the photo.
