I am, and always will be a DANCER!by SonifoComment: What a doll. Great expression. I don’t care to much for the background, I think the wrinkles take a little away from the subject, but the subject is powerful enough to keep my eye off the background most of the time. I would also NOT crop the elbow (petty, but bothersome). Over-all, I love the shot –9- Gotcha |

Sofia by jenaromComment: A beautiful subject, but I\'m dying to see her eyes. I\'d love to see more of her hair on the right side too. The lighting, highlights, midtones, everything very well done. (Wanting to see more, often times can make a better picture by leaving something to the imagination) - this is one of my 10\'s this week - Gotcha |

Selfportraitby RemieComment: This is GREAT work. It has a very Biblical style to it. This is an unusual angle for a portrait and it works so well here. Nice style, nice to see this in the challenge. 10 - Gotcha |

Thinkingby RackatComment: This is a brilliant composition. The hat is a nice touch, the crop shows all that is important. The body language and expression is difficult to capture in a child, but you mastered it in this shot. This is great work. – I like the clean background without distractions - I do often times like a soft focus when used in a portrait shot, My personal preference is to keep the eyes in clear focus at all times. You’re eyes look just a little soft here for my taste and the flash is showing just a bit harsh reflecting in them. – This is one of my 10’s this week, Congrats on a great shot - Gotcha |

Maybe I Can Sneak Into DPC2by GeneralEComment: This is a great portrait shot. Kid shots seem to loose a few points on DPC, but this one has that little extra element that I think will work wonders. The lighting is perfect, bringing rich color to the skin tones. 8 - Gotcha
He looks just like his dad, â€Â¦. â€Â¦ â€Â¦ (Must be the nose).
Nice Shot

Light Towerby FrooberComment: This is a difficult shot to critique for me. Shades of blacks and whites with this level of extreme contrast are not easy to shoot. I love lighthouses, so it has my interest. The blue of the sky is rich in color and the detail is clear throughout the picture. The contrails are a little distracting to me but there’s not a lot you can do to fix that short of re-shooting in an hour. I want to see something else in the picture to give me an idea of the size of the tower. (Only because it almost looks like a toy). The black frame is a nice addition. Good Luck – Gotcha 7 |

Melancholy Melodyby nards656Comment: This is a great capture. Good color, great subject nice angel and framing. The lighting is just a little harsh for my taste, but it does add some interest to the shot by bringing out some additional grain in the wood. Nice work 8 - Gotcha |

Driftwoodby GraciousComment: This has some serious potential, but it\'s missing something, I can\'t put a finger on it. I don\'t know what the rest of the wood looks like, so I\'m not sure if you can step back a bit without bringing something ugly into the shot. Or maybe something of greater interest in the window like a sunset or a flower, maybe a tree??? I like the subject - 8 Gotcha |

Corne by muckpondComment: This is great work. Good detail, no harsh lighting. I'd love to hang this on my wall, but i can't see enough of the instrument to keep my interest. Not knowing what the rest of it looks like, I'm not sure if zooming out a little will hurt or help. None the less, great photography - 9 Gotcha |
