Dos Amigas - Cinco de Mayo

Comment:
no harmony between subjects, elements behind and top left are distracting, color might have been the way to go here with the dresses. If you want to stay B&W might want to concentrate on elements drawing attention to the subjects with light on dark or dark on light type subject/background relationships. Not bad here, but overall feeling is...meh.

nice composition, but i'm left wondering if a better shot was available...as in more interaction with the key subject.

The After Party

Comment:
why is the title the after party? seems a bit too dark overall, dislike the lack of harmony with the subjects....the three main at least to me should be either all facing the camera or facing away & the choice of these three and their costumes contrasted with the background doesn't seem to work well.

nice idea to frame your shot with the window. consider next time: using a vertical shot for a vertical window, not tilting the camera, and cleaning up the image elements (too many elements to focus the viewer's attention).

perfect isolation and perspective. wonderful in b&w but I'd be curious to see the color version.
